Its a great effect, but if you look at the under-arm area, you’ll the performer in a black unitard operating the forearms. He’s on a set of stilts and his head is inside the chest just below the robot head. The sounds are all playback effects possibly triggered by his movements. I’ll bet within six months we’ll see this type of costume walking around at Universal Studios and Disney.

Are you all gullable or do you honestly believe this is a real fully automated robot conrtolled by preprogramming or remote..well whatever just keep living in your delusional dreamworld..anyway in order to not sound like a complete douche.. Titan is awesome regardless of how unrealistic it is its still entertaining

I dunno man… I’m … I dunno man… I’m looking at the waist, the movement, the fact that there’s a perfectly placed see through panel where a wearers head would be… the fact that the motor sounds aren’t always synched with the movement in other vids (even when the video itself has otherwise perfect syching), the pants and sleeves where arms would be, the fact that in this video I can see from behind that there is def. enough room for a waist. The hands and head are robotic, but not the legs and torso.
Notice the metallic … Notice the metallic thing behind him near the beggining of the video. Not only is that used to transport Titan around, but it also is where the operator controls Titan. There is also a robot made by Honda that is much smaller. The only reason Honda is so revolutionary is because it thinks for itself. This is pre-programmed and/or radio controlled. THATS why Honda doesnt do these events just for entertainment.

He is remote controlled (sometimes) and the reason that the 3 Titan Dance is slightly out-of-sync is because the operators are human, and didnt hit the buttons at the right time. The parts on the legs and arms that look like pants are plastic covering to hide the hydraulic systems and the wires. In a video, it shows Titan from behind, and his waist is smaller then a life-sized barbie doll’s waist. It is -not- a man in a suit. Get over it.
