The Nazi campaign had as much to do with evolution as fortune-telling has to do with astronomy, or creationism has to do with biology. Indeed, the Nazi Party was founded on religious ideals, not on any scientific basis, and their official stance on scientific matters was… well, they believed that a race of people lived inside a giant hole at the South Pole. There’s a reason why most scientists left Germany before the war.
