An original comedic short my friends and I made about the Cornell DDR Club. The video premiered at China Night ‘04, a student-run Chinese culture show.
This film has gone on to win multiple awards, including “Best Comedy About a Dancing Simulation Game Filmed at a University Beginning with the Letter C.”

I liked when the guy was jumping on the table saying “ddr oh ddr’s for nerds uhohohohohohohohoho *inhales* o’donald rules!”.
and also the other part where he said “oh ddr ahahahaha hoohoohoohoohoo hoohoohoohoo etc ddr’s for nerds, o’donald rules!” and stomping around the piece of paper. That part was funny. I’m sorry but that was funny to me.

The intro is an …
The intro is an Asian drama spoof, which a lot of people don’t “get.” Keep in mind that this video was originally made for a college Chinese culture show.
There is also a comedic purpose for the intro:
The audience had no idea what this video was going to be about. So I wanted them to first think they were seeing just a cheesy student-made Asian drama, and then surprise them with a random comedic short.
The impact of this “bait n’ switch” is lost online.
