Part of a series of videos exposing the funny stupidity of creationists and why they deserve to be laughed at. In each case the creationist statements are shown to be outrageously stupid by even the most rudimentary knowledge of science.
In this episode it is shown how little respect creationists have for the western value of free speech. Repeatedly caught either censoring comments with zeal, or simply not allowing them. This trend goes across the board from the scientifically illiterate creationists, to the hub of the intelligent design movement, The Discovery Institute. Its further found that many of the earlier ‘Why do people laugh at creationists’ videos (particularly parts 3, 4 and 5, mainly containing material from the convicted fraudster and Young Earth Creationist, Kent Hovind), despite having an open comments section, have been targeted by creationist flagging campaigns.
Yup that’s right, they had the latitude to present whatever argument they wanted, and what did they do? Embark on a flagging campaign. Evidently this is what some creationists think the strongest argument for creationism is.

This is the first one of your videos to disappoint me. Applying a faux Southern (USA definition) accent to the creationist commenters lend the appearance that Southerners in general are ignorant. Creationism may be strongest in the USA, but its found everywhere in the USA.

just wanted to say thanx for all the vids… your annotated il rations are fun, playful, and refreshing; albeit, the whole ‘debating’ the creationists is just sad (though it nicely fits a dialogue type format), your opponents remind me of out-of-town relatives that you leave the house for… cuz there just isn’t a single descent discussion in them… or decency for that matter… its unnerving really!

There are numerous …
There are numerous instances of genes being duplicated during replication. Once this duplication happens, which can be an entire chromosome, the extra copy is free to undergo mutations that can lead to it serving a different function all together. If you get the chance I would buy a text book on evolutionary genetics. It will answer your question far better than I can from memory.

I love the explanation right at the end. i never would have thought of describing it in that way, its so clear and concise, no one can argue that. The problem is if you havent read into anything on evolution or phylogentics, you wouldnt understand the process of cladogenesis and allopatric speciation, which explain speciation and why they come about in a perfectly logical way, that cant be disputed

Thank you for your input. I should maybe have only said force, I just threw the rest in because we just don´t know. But this opens our hard to study problem and then some people think the faith argument while I think not believing in any of the major religions does not make you any less open to any theory that there might be a universal cognative entity that either effects us directly or not. Difference is that I am open to being proven wrong. Let´s focus on what we can prove and work on.
