Paxil has horribly bad withdrawls! Taper of verrrrrt slowly. I’m serious, been there and would never wish it on anyone.

If you stop taking …
If you stop taking Paxil too quickly you can end up with non-stop adrenaline flowing through your system. This leaves you in a continual state of fear and panic. If your heart is weak it can kill you.
I tapered off slowly, dropping my dosage by 10mg every two weeks. At the end of that I was feeling nervous and edgy, probably similar to a smoker going cold turkey but without any of the associated cravings.

Witrhdrawl for me …
Witrhdrawl for me incuded migraines and bad flu like muscle ache, terrible fatigue, edginess - more like mood swings, depression, and bad stomach cramps. I probably forgot something, but those were the most debilitating. As with any medication, side effects and severity vary considerably between people.
